Now that you have created a MySQL database, you will need to create and assign a user to it. This way your software can actually function! To do this, follow these steps:

• Login to cPanel!
• Scroll down the page to "Databases" and click on the "MySQL Databases" icon

• Under the "MySQL Users" Heading you will see the "Add New User" form
• Enter your desired username and password

• Click "Create User"

You have now created your user. Now you need to assign the user to your database. Conveniently the form for this is right below the form we just filled in. Under the "Add User To Database" heading there are two drop down lists. Simply select the User and the Database and hit "Add". It's that easy!
