A forwarder will send a copy of all email received to the specified account automatically. This has it's uses, but be aware that the original account still receives a copy of the email and it will be stored on the server. With cPanel you have two options for setting up forwarders. You can set them up on a per account or domain wide basis. To set up a single account forwarder follow these steps:
- Login to cPanel.
- Click the "Forwarders" icon.
- Click the "Add Forwarder" icon.
- Fill in the email address you would like to have forwarding it's messages. Use the text field form to enter the user part of the email address and the drop down menu to select the domain name.
- Fill in the "Forward to email address:" field.
- You'll notice several other options below this, but they are not generally needed.
If you would like to forward all email to your domain to another domain, it is quite easy. Simply click the "Forwarders" icon, click the "Add Domain Forwarder" icon and fill in the domain you wish to forward a copy of all messages too. Done!
