The following steps will detail how to restore files via our licensed CDP backup server:

Firstly start by logging into cPanel, once logged-in continue to the "Files" section and locate the"R1Soft Restore Backups" button

The "R1Soft Restore Backups" button will redirect you to our CDP server's login landing page were you will gain access to the restoration control interface. You will be prompted for your username and password - this will be the same username and password you use to sign-in to cpanel with.

The restore interface will give you access to the disk safes containing snapshots of your servers internal file-system, these snapshots are taken hourly on our shared hosting packages.

To start restoring files, select a "Disk Safe" from the list on the left-hand side, now choose a snapshot by navigating to the date you wish to restore form, locate the file(s) you wish to restore from within the file-system hierarchy and then click the "Restore Selected Files" button located in the top right-hand side of the page.

Once you've clicked the "Restore Selected Files" button you will be presented with a new page, from this new page you will be able to view the restore parameters and options, you may also choose to restore the files to an alternate location.

Click the "Ok" button to start the restoration process, if all goes well then you've now just completed a basic restoration task - Mazal tov!
