How to create a Mailing List in cPanel

A mailing list is a great method for sending out newsletters and frequent mailings without resorting to CC'ing or BCC'ing a bunch of people. cPanel includes a built in Mailman install for your use. To learn more about Mailman, *click here*.

To create a mailing list is, as with most tasks in cPanel; quite easy. Simply:

  • Login to cPanel.
  • Click the "Mailing Lists" icon.

  • Fill in the list name.
  • Fill in your desired password twice.
  • Select from the drop down list the domain you want the mailing list on.
  • Click the "Add Mailing List" button.

Just like that, you have a mailing list installed. If you go back to the "Mailing Lists" page you will see your mailing list at the bottom of the screen. You can edit the mailing list options by clicking the "Modify" button beside your list.
