    I have been working as a system administrator exclusively in the realm of webhosting, since 1999. Since then I've learned something important. I rule. No one can explain it but... Computers everywhere fear me, and just start working properly when I come near. (I'm not kidding, its documented, ask Shane). Well, most of the time.

    Here at EZP my job encompasses just about anything server related. I do my best to install server software so that it never breaks, then I fix anything that does break, find ways to improve our current products, find new products to improve our product offering, and generally oversee the tech team efforts to make sure that all of our clients needs are met to the best of our ability.

    If you'd like to get more personal... I have a wife, 4 kids, and a miniature dachshund named FeiFei. I ride a motorcycle to work, rain or shine, 10 months out of the year. In my free time I play WoW, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, and many RTS games. Being the tech geek that I am I also enjoy playing with HAM radio, general electronics and microprocessors. I have an outdoorsy side too, I also enjoy camping, fishing, and while I have never shot anything, I also enjoyed hunting. :) To make sure I am always busy, I also volunteer with one of the local Search and Rescue groups.

    Most of you have seen my name at the bottom of your support email responses. Let me introduce myself a bit better. I'm the owner of EZP! However, I originally went to school hoping to obtain an Accounting designation or get involved in finance somehow. I have a Diploma in Advanced Accounting and my Bachelor of Commerce. Back then I never dreamed I would one day run my own company, let alone a web hosting company.

    However, after graduating from university I found a position with an online company and the internet odyssey for me began. After jumping through several jobs I finally started EZProvider Networks, Inc. in 2000 with my friend Alex. I had many consulting clients at the time who were hosted and colocated with many different companies and facilities. Some places were good, others not so good and overall it was a mess dealing with so many unresponsive support teams and companies who didn't seem to care about their smaller clients. So we started our own hosting company, consolidated everyone into our Vancouver facility and haven't looked back.

    I've always been customer focused. I feel a strong responsibility to live up to our claims, to provide an excellent product and hosting experience for our customers. Our customers seem to really value this as EZP has enjoyed success with an amazingly small amount of advertising over the years. The majority of our clients are referrals from other happy customers! You can't beat a compliment like that.

    Things have changed radically in the past 8 years. I fully expect them to continue to change radically in the future. We will as always do our best to remain on top of the latest technology, networking, security and hardware trends so our clients can focus on maintaining their business. The one factor that will always remain first and foremost with EZP is good customer support.
