LSCache Plugin

We run Litespeed and Litespeed cache on our shared servers (and many of our VPS & Dedicated servers!). So if you are a shared hosting client or you have litespeed on your VPS/Dedicated server and you are running wordpress, we heavily recommend you use this plugin:

LiteSpeed Cache

It is very simple to install & configure. Just login to your WordPress admin area, Select “Add New” from the “Plugins” menu on the left side of the screen. On the top right of the screen is a keyword search field, simply type in “litespeed” and hit enter.

You’ll see a page of results display and the top left result should be Litespeed Cache. Simply click the “Install Now” button.

Once installed, you’ll have a new menu item on the left side of the screen called “Litespeed Cache”. Select “Settings” from that menu and under the “General” tab, you’ll see the option to enable (or disable) the cache. Simply enable it and 99% of the time you are good to go!

To verify cache is working, you can simply examine the raw HTTP headers sent between the browser and web server. We prefer using Chrome Developer Tools to check this. When a page is served from the litespeed cache, the following line shows up in the HTTP response header:

X-LiteSpeed-Cache: hit

If you do not see this in the HTTP response header, then the page was not served from the cache. At that point, feel free to open a support ticket with us for further assistance.
