I need to increase the PHP memory_limit (and others!)

All of our shared hosting clients have access to this, as do most VPS/Dedicated servers…

Simply login to cPanel and find the “Software” section.

There is an icon there, labelled “Select PHP Version”. Click it!

At the top right of the page that loads, you’ll see the “Switch To PHP Options” link. Click it!

You’ll be presented with a bunch of useful options such as:

• display_errors
• error_reporting
• max_execution_time
• memory_limit
• post_max_size
• upload_max_filesize
• & a few more!

You’ll be able to set the variables to what you need, then simply click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen. If you do not, the PHP options for your account will NOT change.
