How to set Custom PHP Versions and PHP Modules/Extensions
If you are on our shared hosting this is really easy!
Simply login to cPanel and find the “Software” section.
There is an icon there, labelled “Select PHP Version”. Click it!
At the top of the page that loads, you’ll see the “Current PHP Version”. This is a drop down menu, allowing you to set the version of PHP you wish to use.
You’ll also see the modules that are enabled – simply select the ones you need to enable them.
Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen. If you do not, the version of PHP your account is using will NOT change.
